I get discouraged easily when I work on a goal, when it takes longer then I want. What can I do to not give up on it? When things get harder I feel like giving up. Brad
I am not doing so well in science. I find it hard and boring. I am working on improving the grade. I want a B. I am getting some extra help from the teacher and it is helping. David
I have a goal this month. I want to do better on my soccer team, and make a goal at the next game. I practice on my own and want this. If it doesn't happen, I will get mad but try for the next game.
I accomplished mt goal and feel great. I am writing down another goal I want to do. I have to think of the steps that I will need. It helped the last time to break down the goal into very small steps and look bacfk at them often. Rufus
I am trying to improve my running distance. I want to be on the fall cross country team. I didn't make the soccer team. it bothered me alot because my two friends made it and I didn't. I felt real bad. I decided to try running instead. it is easier for me and they need runners on the team. I feel better now that I am trying for this. I think it might even be better for me.
Everyday in the morning or at night I write down what I have to be positive and grateful for. I just focus on them. I ignore the negative. I used to be down all the time because I just looked at the bad that happened. It does help to change the way you look at things. Dolly
