Positive Self-Talk posted by UNKNOWN

A new school term has started. Parents might ask how do kids start off on the right foot? I believe the best way to have a good year is to set up goals and keep positive. One must use positive self-talk to deal with the ups and downs of the beginning of school. Positive self-talk can be "yes , I can do this, it takes time." Things might not go well at first. Manytimes, we jump to negative conclusions on how the rest of the term will go. You have to remind yourself to keep positive and upbeat. Negative thoughts bring about negative results. You can get depressed and more stressed out. Try to be positive and you will observe the benefits .

The summer is upon us. Let us take the time to pursue special hobbies outside of school work and to work on developing a more positive attitude. Come the fall, when school begins we will be refreshed and more positve. This will be one of the greatest gifts we as parents can give our children. Too many parents ,use the summer to pursue more academic classes instead of pursuing a special interest. Teach your children always to try to look on the bright side of things. Optimism has been show to improve health, make you happier and will help you to better achieve your goals. Go out and make it a positive summer. You and your children will reap the benefits.
