Robin Schafer Hello, my name is Robin Schafer. I am a substitute teacher and a mother of three, including both boys and girls, grade school through college-aged. I graduated from The University of Pennsylvania with a degree in psychology and sociology. I also hold a training certificate in Emotional Intelligence from the 6 Seconds Institute for Organizational Performance. This certificate training has given me the ability to understand and communicate about emotions, and how to control them in a positive manner.
My personal experience raising kids has given me a solid, first-hand experience in dealing with all the difficulties kids go through such as stress, unhappiness, and temper control. Through trial-and-error and extensive research, I have come up with strategies to help kids be more in control of their emotions which contributes to a more successful life. The steps are easy to follow and will have lasting results. Also, a personal near-death experience which put me in a hospital away from my family and newborn for several weeks taught me how to turn misfortune into fortune. As a result of that experience, I became a more positive thinker and learned how to relax under intensely stressful situations. I lost the ability to walk and through sheer determination and physical therapy, I regained that ability.
I want to share what I learned on emotional control with you and spare you the years and pain of trial and error I went through. Our program offers lasting benefits that will carry kids through the difficult teenage years with less expense and heartache we will all experience as parents of children.
Randy Schafer Hello, my name is Randy Schafer. I am a professional product manager and business strategist. I have worked with kids for a number of years, coaching youth soccer. I have observed what it takes to achieve success in the business world, in athletics and in the arts. I have an undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan, and a Master's Degree from the Harvard Business School.
My role in this endeavor is to support and assist my wife Robin to make this service the best it can possibly be as I believe this a truly unique and incredibly valuable service to young people. Before we can achieve, we must believe - in ourselves. To remove the element of luck in how our lives unfold, we can be organized, prepared and focused on the things we want to do in our lives.
